G'Day Victor, What are these cobras on car point & car sales like ? I have built mine from a basic "kit" and stopped counting at $50 K so you might like to contact the cobra mob in QLD to see if they have any knowledge of the ones you are interested in.
Good Luck, Regards Rob.

Ditto Victor. You could get a half or maybe 2/3 constructed kit for that money or an older car perhaps. Check with the Qld Chapter if that is your state as there are lots of members with Cobras. Happy to chat with you if you come along to one of the breakfasts at Sanctuary Cover on the first Sunday of each month.

Merv

Mate I would save a few more $$$$ and go for the New DRB540

I am living in Japan and thinking of moving back to OZ for a year just to buy this car, build it and ship it to Japan.

Not really an apples to apples comparison comparing a porky modern convertible to a classic and timeless design - Everyones entitled to opinions but give me a Cobra anyday. I do like the look of the car, but I reckon it'll be looking pretty tired in 10 years whereas the original cobra shape looks just as good as it did 40 years ago.

But when you own both types of cars you get the best of both worlds.
