If it sounds that good on a low res video, it must be awesome in real life!
Congratulations, can't wait for my first drive (should only be in about 3 years
), it must feel amazing.
Was your daughter telling you what you need to do to finish the car at the beginning?

Yeah she was. Didnt get it quite right though....The list is:
* carpet
* seats trimmed
* door panels
* pipes coated
* tidy up some wiring
* get the tune tidied up
* get a decent wheel align
* add wiper washer
* and various minor odds and ends....

Great Movie....
remember he drove off in a Cobra at the end of the movie?
The "Sort of" follow up movie..."Snatch" is just about my favourite movie as well.
Got some great quotes that I use regularly .......
Loved it when Turkish is asked by the shat off Copper...'What's in the Car ??"
He replies..."Seats and a steering Wheel"....classic
The attached website has a few giggles for anyone who knows the movie.

Gotta go...I'm supposed to be filling up a skip with stuff we don't need anymore....Moving from a house to a 19th.floor unit....
Sorry to interrupt the thread...just trying to avoid a bit of work.
Cheers,
Warren

Yes Wazza, a classic. The soundtrack has all the music and lots of dialogue: great for a long road trip.

Well done, first drive is mixture of nerves and thrills, then you take it to the engineer and that is worse.
I see you must have altered your technique for getting out of the drive. First time I drove out I thought I had ripped the front off.

I think I need to do something with that dip as you go in the driveway - steel plate or something. Its not too bad but I did just knick a quickjack on one of my trips out. Ive ran out of petrol twice in my own street now.

I reckon you should just take some weight out of the arse end so it doesn't sit so low in the back (or are you going for the Soulman look?). Perhaps some light weight tank straps might do the trick.
Cheers
