Where did you get the tyres from Trev? Tire Rack? I did that with the FEDEX thing and it was such a bargain.

Fantastic car Trev. Are you spraying the wheels or powdercoating? Looking forward to seeing how the car looks with darker centres. I just got my centres back from the powdercoaters today where I had them blasted and cleared with no colour. Im waiting for the rims to get back from the polishers so I can bolt them together. I reckon Im as keen as you must be.

Regards.

Trev, they are awsome!

I was always under the impression that TA's were the go, but those Goodyears make it look like a track car. Almost the same as going sidepipes...

Tick the box, I'm going Eagles!!!

Pete,

Trev's car is Bernie's old Cobra. The chassis was built buy the guys at MacDonald Bros I believe. Very solid piece of fabrication. I don't reckon there's much flex in that chassis. It's got a 9" in the back but I can't remember what front end it had.

The car always had that great old racer look about it. Many people at shows asked if it was an original. Those Good years just take the look up another notch.

Cheers

G'Day Trev,
What colour is your car ? I've chosen a Glasurit colour that looks a bit similar.

Hey Mike, all the parts are there... I was going to get it all sorted by Rob VG who has done all the work to dads GT40, but that damn GT40 has only just left his factory :P

I bought an apartment in Mount Gambier, so that has slowed up my finances... also, there about $15k of bikes I've bought in the last 18 months... stupid boy I am... hahaha

Todd
