Build update, almost done.
Its been a while since I painted the car so here are some updated pics.
Finished paint job to front of car.
Dash completed with glove box.
Glovebox with consealed hinge.
Seats, carpet, door trims and kick panels.
Boot fitted with carpet, cut out stainless fuel pump cover (cobra embossed) and recessed battery box.
Just waiting for clear polyuethane templates to be measured and cut to suit Classic Revival which is a must for any car especially darker coloured cars. This is due to happen latter in the week and is reasonably cheap. I'll show pics when done.
Any interest from other CR guys. Its easy to remove if not wanted anymore or repairs are required.
Will post pics when done.
Cheers,
Dale.

Great job Dale, the leather work is outstanding and I love the colour of your carpet. Are the backs of your seat made with strips of leather like the front and what the cap in the centre of the boot? Love to see more pics of the work you've done!
Regards.

Sorry Merv,
Templates are for the nose and leading edge of rear arches to stop stone chips.
Hi Mando,
Seats are leather backed in one peice only. Cap is for fuel pump.
Cheers.

Congratulations Dale. The car looks great. Almost finished. You must be biting on the bit by now. When does it go for Rego?

That looks fantastic Dale. Great attention to detail.
I like your treatment around the door post. Really tidies that area up.
Is that fuel pump cover a casting you made?
Cheers

Thanks,
Mike, the cover is from a steel die I made on the lonely night shifts at work. Hand filed the raised letters and milled the recessed ones. Guys at work think I'm nuts for spending so much time on a one off cover.
Les, steal as many ideas as you like, I probably stole them from someone else so go right ahead.
Cheers.
