Hey Reptyl.... your car has developed a significant "growth" to its rear!
Do you notice any difference to the cars trackability!? Scotty and I have one on our track car but I don'e reckon it makes any difference whereas Scotty reckons it does make a difference!

It gets him a lot more street cred at the Maccas on Sydney road.

I think it slows me down slightly in a straight line, but the car is quicker and more drivable around corners like the sweeper at Winton.
Over all lap times are about the same.
Think it would help greatly if I removed the windscreen.

About 20 CCCVic cars.
we also had a few old freinds back and joining in the fun.
One of them has the first zero emissions Cobra in Australia.
(Yes Cameron, that's you), they do go faster if you put petrol in to them.

I think I noticed the problem at last nats spook. You see everytime I saw Scott in the car he appeared to be driving it in a forwards direction, However when you were in the car evertime I looked up you were pointed backwards at the start of the main straight. Those fancy wing things work better when your going the right way I reckon.
Some great shots of the Reptyl there - well done. More please.

Deb sent through a few photos and I took a couple with my phone
Have set up a page on the club site
http://www.cobracarclubvic.org.au/Ev...lls050909.html
This is the scene on arrival - note the resurrection of Rob's Robnell (forground red with white stripes and circle) - rolled over at the '08 Nationals
- they're hard as nails in Gippy - the wind was about 400 knots & freezing but the guy from the East Gippsland Car Club fronted us in a shirt and said it was a nice day !
The track has just recently been built and the main building is still under construction - looks the business
The terrain is very steep
( and yes - that photo was taken from the car-park/viewing area where you can watch the cars comin at ya )
The track has been constructed to test drivers with flat and off-camber corners
There have been six rollover since opening and one write-off but fortunately no-one was injured during our outing
Colin turned up with the yummy Superformance Daytona
[sounds sensational]
Having conquered the whole 'cobra thing' Ross Kaig has been racing a Historic MG (the flywheel is so light it sounds like a rotary)
Thanks again to the CCCV for putting on the event - especially Jason
- and as usual Rohan showed what a great guy he is to have around by cooking lunch for us all - thank you Stiffy
I think everyone is looking forward to a return visit.

It is amazing how well those old MGBs can go with the right suspension mods!

Sorry Sambo, that's my dry sense of humor.
Not as dry as Cameron's petrol tank.
He ran out of petrol on the way to the track!

LOL, Jason!
While in zero emissions mode it actually went pretty fast; it hit 100kph a few times.........behind the tow vehicle!
