Default Garage Update # 2

Hi All,

I woke this morning to the sound of a two stroke chain saw

Not something you really want to happen at 7am on a Monday morning BUT I have been up since 6am waiting for this to happen for a few Months now (BLOODY NEIGHBOURS)

Hi Liam,


Still in the painting process


The caar is in 1000 bits again, power coating suspension, Coating exhaust,
making pannels for the engine bay, redoing the dash (so I can read the appropriate gauges) modifying the rear to fit different wheels,,,, teh list goes on.

Default Earth movers

The concreters do not remove old concrete and bricks so it was left to a mates company (Rafferty The Wrecker) to remove all the old crap.

They did and it pi++ed with rain last nite which does not help

Default More Earthmoving

The concrete guy's were there yesterday and they removed 200cubic meters of clean soil.

They levelled the site ready for the footings.

First issue, the sewer pit is 4.5 meters under the original outlet pipe
as it has to be moved the plumber has some digging to do .

The slab is going ontop of the level as you look at it.

The builder ses out the job tomorrow, the sparky lays his cables tomorrow, the plumber on Monday, the slab on Tuesday.

The brickie is starting 5-7 days after the slab is layed.

I think Stiffy might have the decimal point in the wrong spot for his quantities, just make sure your not paying by the cubic meter to remove the soil Stiffy.
