Angry bloody rain!!!

well we got thru friday practice fine had few drops of rain but nothing to stop the fun.
But now its raining pretty heavy and looks like it might be here in the morning i just hope it all blows away I am sure if you guys at home can go out side and start blowing it might help .
Cause after some of the blowing that goes on here it should work.

I dont have the facilitys to up load pics sorry.
There was fast times laid down to day in cold conditions some 66 sec and 67 sec laps so the sprints will be all go.

Lets hope the clears up for tommorow.

all for now oz.

Bloody hot here! Was 35 degrees north of Brisbane today. Good driving in the morning though. Keep the pics coming!

Thanks for posting some pics Legless!

Is the DRB 540 a large car in the flesh?

Regards.

Steve.

Default DRB 540 at the nats

Hi Stephen
I didn't pay too much attention to them, I guess each to his own. I like the AC style better, I guess you wouldn't call them a large car though they look bulkier.

cheers

Paul

A local mate out here is building one, I think it looks very big but all in proprtion.
Remeber it fits the full width falcon dash and the doors are very big (long).
I am not sure what they weigh but think with teh side foot pring and low stance they might be pretty good on a track?

The local guy is building his to race in targa Adelaide.

How did they go on the track?

I'm interested in what the aluminum chassis and BA Falcon sourced suspension went like. The Cobra formula has a few fairly standard setups but this DRB540 is something new all together.

Cheers
