Default emergency brake delete

I do not like the look of the emergency brake handle in the normal place on the passenger side of the trans tunnel. Does anyoone have any ideas or seen anything I can do as an alternative? either a different location or different technology?

Thanks, Jim

some people have put them ontop of the tunnel.....mine is mounted to the floor next to the tunnel on the passenger side just in front of the seat.....it seems to be out of the way of everything and easy to get to.......

RustyBob, is it along side the trans tunnel like normal or parallel to the front of the seat? Can you post a picture?

Ratsnst1, What seats are you using? They are a nice compromise between low and highback.
Thanks, Jim

As I recall Mercedes used to have a handle under the dash - left side...

that might work. I will look at my 67 mustang, it has an arm under the dash.

I found these articles:
http://www.jefflilly.com/Fabrication...rake/page.html

http://www.rodandcustommagazine.com/...ake/index.html

but I dont think there is room. Maybe mounting it horizontal

Any other ideas?

Jim
