Default Interior Heat Shield

I am getting ready to order another list of parts for my car and think I am getting close to the end. The question is for a B&B do I need some interior heat shield to keep the temps down. I was looking at a product called "Cool It" from Summit # 14620.

If it is needed where would it be best used, the tunnel, the foot box firewall, where?
