wire routing

I have tried a couple things but they keep failing. how have people routed and stuck their wiring for the front lighting? I had some adhesive fail on the inside of the fender and a wire wrapped around the wheel while driving.
any suggestions would be great

You can find small square tabs in the electrical department at a hardware store. They have adhesive backs and a lug on the front that a plastic wire tie can be attached to. Mine have been on the car since 2003.

those are what I used and they failed on me. where did you attache them? Mine were inside the fender where it was rough. I am thinking about siliconing them in. that will not affect the fiberglass will it?

You might try to clean the area that you want to attach to with lacquer thinner. Mine are attached to the upper part of the nose section.

I will try that. it is the rough backside of the fiberglass and I did not want to use anything that might attack the open fiberglass

I can't imagine that the lq would have too much affect on it. I've used it to clean small areas. It dries quick and takes any grease or oil off.

I had trouble getting mine to stick, too. I tried Liquid Nails construction adhesive and it solved the problem. The little plastic blocks have stayed put for over 20 years now. I had some in my caulking gun for another project and elected to give it a try--worked great.

When I was building my car I glassed in some PVC pipe and ran all the front light wiring through it on the right. I then went over the hood hinge and then to the left side. I welded a bracket in the center of the hinge to hold the wiring loom.
