Header Installation
I hope someone is archiving all of my questions so that they can create the idiots guide to building a B&B roadster. I am about to mount my headers, and before I put the RTV on, as recommended in a previous post, I want to make sure that I have them oriented correctly. Any tips? One of them looks like it would be way too close to the drivers footbox, so I am assuming this would be the key indication, but I just want to make sure.

OhBuoy Can't say on a B&B, but on any I have seen they are close, lucky if you can get your hand between the header and footbox. Hold your headers up and make sure they are going to line up with the outlet holes in the side of the car, this should give you a better idea.

Tom, on the flange that bolts onto the sidepipe there should be an angle notched off one of the corners. That corner should be facing the footbox. If it is facing the front, your headers are reversed. The sidepipe has one too. They should match together when bolted up.:D
