Default Interior Lighting

The first time I drove my car at night I realized how dark it gets inside the car. If I had a roof I would just install a dome light so right now all I have is the moonlight.

Any creative lighting suggestions or do you guys just run is black stealth mode.

Thanks.

Jim

I made 2 small aluminum brackets for the round license plate lights and hid them under the dash, hooked up to a Lucas toggle switch I added to the dash. You could add the switch under the dash if you wanted. I find that these round license plate lights are cheap (2.99 @ AutoZone), readily available and give off plenty of light in the cabin. I like them so much I added 2 in the trunk.

Sounds like a good idea. I took my sister for a ride last Saturday night. Tried to explain how to her how to get a 5 point harness connected and then do it in the dark. 5 minutes later........

But if it wasn't so dark, I wouldn't be able to see the dimly lit Smith's gauges in the dashboard.

Have more of a street rod dash than original Cobra. Also using CR deluxe dash with center panel.

Gauges are illuminated. Installed courtesy lights in footwells with clear side marker lights operated by door jamb switches, and headlight switch. Ignition and all controls, heater, wiper, lights, have Wireworks pinpoint green LED's that let you see where everything is in the dark, even when driving.

Also using Wireworks BrightLites for park, turn, tail, brake lights. Makes dinky Lucas lights substantially more visible at night. (www.wire-works.com)
