Default Radiator Hose

Hey BLAKE? Which hose are you prefering too? I just used the universial straight hose that you can bend worked great or you can go use a coat hanger to get the bend you need that works too . Later (greensnake)

I used jegs (www.jegs.com) part #938-WA7306. It is a flexable, trimable metal hose. You just have to make sure that you get the adapters that you need to attach to you raidiator and pump.
So far I only have one of these on the lower hose, but I plan to install in place of the upper hose soon.

I used the flexable hoses as well. They work great but get ready to spend a few bucks.

You can check them out on the web: http://www.coolflex.com/

summit racing also carries them. www.summitracing.com

Good luck

If your refering to the lower hose, I used the short hose (part number from B+B) on the radiator and used a coat hanger to figure out the bend for the steel pipe that goes under the crossmember. Took the coat hanger to a local muffler shop and had one bent up for $5. Use a 6- 8 inch staight hose to connect up to the water pump. Hope that helps. Jim

Not that mine is the cheapest, easiest of cleanest route, but I got a prebent metal pipe from B&B. They gave me the part number for the bent hose portion on the lower, and then I used a straight peice of Gates hose that was difficult to find for the part from the water pump to the metal pipe. So far so good. It will most likely be replaced with cool flex eventually.

B&B also gave me the part number for the upper hose. Mine fits great with slight trimming. Only problem is if I move the water pump from the drivers side to the passengers side, I think I am going to have to change hoses. Radiator is most likely going to come out shortly for body fitment, and at that time, I may move the alternator, getting rid of the ugly lincoln bracket accessory that my builder gave me and replacing it with a March billet peice. Should take off about 5 pounds at least!

Or, if you want to use stock hoses, call Karen at the shop and get the #'s of all 3 hoses from Bryan, Barry or me. (Pssst, Darryl's not there anymore ). They all have to be trimmed a little. I prefer the term "Customized".

Default radiator hose

which alternator bracket are you running? If you look for the "cool alternator bracket" post I recently added, I include a picture of my bracket...and you can see the upper hose I went with. It will only work if you have either the alternator on the left or low on the right...if you are interested, I have the part number.
