Hello! Awaiting delivery of a B&B on the trailer and 90 minutes away, or so. So very excited. 1966 model, red with white racing stripes, black interior, 351w stroker (393), new tremec t-5, comp cams with hydraulic lifters.
While I’m here….does anyone have Patriot 36” cheese grater heat shields on their side pipes? Everything I see is 29-30”, but patriots are 1/2 the price.

28 inch heat shields
Hi Littlepig,
My heat shields are from FinishLine Accessories. My B&B is a 2002 turn key minus build. I'm the 3rd owner & its still going strong. I got it in 2014. Needed some TLC & updating. Its a good platform. My heat shields are 28 inches. Congrats & good luck with it! Nick

History of the car - B&B Manufacturing / LA Exotics
Hi cobra brothers, please do you have a functional contact on Karen Wells or Barry McGill? Just bought Cobra (B&B Manufacturing / LA Exotics) blue one with white strips and searching for a history of production and renovation in US.
Barry@mcgills-streetrods.com doesnt work.
Thanks a million for your help!

Not sure how much the vin will tell you. Barry McGill (one of the B’s) is carrying on building the cars Fiberglass 34 Coupes and Cobras by McGill Manufacturing may can help you. Listed # is 417-472-7848 I believe Karen still works there and has for decades.

Hi All B&B Owners,
Happy New Year to all! Just checking in. My 2002 Turn Key Minus Build still running strong with many upgrades & my mods since getting it in 2014. Barry McGill is great. It’s been a while since I reached out to him. Hope he is well & still building. He fabbed a clutch quadrant mod to solve the clutch cable premature failure issues that many experienced. Added a 1995 Mustang SVT. It’s the Hardtop/Vert. #433 of the 499 made. #917 of the 1003 convertibles in 95. My best to everyone. Nick

migwarrior,
The first characters should be BB. The next six would be the date built at the plant. The next three the engine CI it was set up for. The next three is the color of the Gelcoat, (not always accurate). The last the number of that car produced. Sometime around 2010-2011 Brain changed the vin format, not sure why
