Talking Kit almost ready!!

I arrived at work today to find my voice mail light on... Fearing the worst...(I work for the railroad) I dialed in.. To find to my surprise, it was Karen from B & B telling me my kit will be ready for pick up by next week.. WOO HOO.. 3 weeks early.. But to my dismay I have to wait until the 23rd to leave out to go get it.. Plus I have to go and get a hitch for my truck.. The wife has taken off a couple of days to go with me, & she even lined up a trailer for the trip.... Good girl..!! NOW where to put it... Looks like my convert will be in the driveway until sold.. OOPS... I will be wrenching soon.. Just had to sign in a tell...

fw209,

congratulations....I never got a call from Karen, as I always beat her to the punch!

They did a fantastic job on my car. absolutely no complaints. Karen, Bryan, Barry, everyone @ B&B is top notch and really understand the idea of "the customer comes first".

Keep us updated on your build, and don't be afraid to ask for some advice. I got plenty on this forum during my build-up!

Good Luck! Post some photos when you pick it up!

what stage did you order?

Talking

Thanks Blake

I will post pictueres when we return.. I hope to stay true to the camera throughout the project... & Believe me if I have a problem or question I will ask... The kit I ordered was the 5.0 donor kit, 9" rear, tubular front w/ heater. I don't have a donor, I am going to just go get what I need. B & B included so much stuff that you really don't need the donor car unless your going EFI.

Cool

I'm super happy with the quality of my kit.
If i could not build it myself, i would have had B&B build it.

congratulations, I to was as excited as you when the call came in.

Hey its nice to have more B&Bs in the area, I am looking fwd to helping you with the build, you are welcome over any time, there could be a chance I could be moving to VillaaPark so thats even closer, you have my number call any time.

Also Eric Keldahl lives in VillaPark just off St.Charles, his B&B is in for paint now, he showed me a paint sample (Dark Candy Apple Red with a faint flame on the hood) its going to look very nice.

Thumbs up Thanks

Thanks.

I just picked up my engine today. 302 .030 over to 306, steel forged crank h-beam rods, JE forged pistons and a set of performer heads.. I got lucky, a friend of mine crashed his LX and he was too sick over it to rebuild. SO I got all for a song.. Engine has 500 miles on it!!! I was alittle slow I lost the WC T-5 but got all of the other goodies plus a aluminum D/S.. Just intake, timing cover, WP, Distributor, and a fuel pump.. The I'll be ready.. OH YEAH a trans.. But going to look tomorrow at one after the vette fest of course.. Gotta go never know what you will find.. Any one looking of a Built 8.8 w390's he's got one... Plus a few other items.. I will post in the parts department soon..
