Talking B&B Rims and Tires

I have one of the shortened 9 rearends coming from B&B with my kit. I been looking all around for rims and tires and cant make up my mind. Any owners with same specs if the could post what they used for their build? If you have pics that would be great also.
15, 16, 17, rims I'll look at them all, I am favorable to 15's though.
Thanks!!

I have the same setup.

15x8 front w/4" backspacing. - 235/60/15
15x10 rear w/ 4.5" backspacing. - 275/50/15

99% sure on the backspacing, I will check and re-post if it is not correct. I would always measure again just to be sure!

thanks

blake

Default Rims

I measured my wheel openings and the largest backspacing you can really get away with is 5" in front and 5.25 in the rear if you want to use 8" and 10" wide on 15" rims without them rubbing, hanging out, or hitting the calipers. If you use the 4.5" backspacing your tires will hang out just a bit but you can up the rears to a 295, and the fronts to a 245. I prefer the wheels under the opening so here is what I did.

I ordered a series 37 steel wheel from US Wheel, from Summit Racing. They were a custom order from Summit. I used 15 X 8 in the front with a 5 " back space. I have the tubular front suspension.

I have the narrowed 9" rear with the coil overs and I used a 15 X 10 with a 5 .25" back spacing. They tuck under nice. I can get a 275 / 50 / 15 in the rear and a 225 or 235 / 60 / 15 in the front.

Good luck.. There are a lot of choices out there. So far the wheels were that hardest for me to decide on. I will post pictures when the car comes back from paint.

Have Fun
Fred
