If you are refering to the angled opening on the driverside lower portion of the firewall. That is just the way the firewall was molded, and you have to glass that in when you install the body. You will have to glass in all the way around the firewall, and up to where the hood opening meets it (firewall) for a water tight seal, as well as all around the cockpit and the trunk. You will have to do the tunnel as well, and the rear wheel wells. Mine took about 3 packages of matt, about 60 sq. ft. and 1 1/2 gallons of resin. Have fun, it can be messy.. Lots of rubber gloves and brushes..
Good Luck
