Cooling Fan
B&B Guys,
How loud is your cooling fan? I'm having trouble hearing how good my engine sounds over the buzz of the cooling fan. This fan came with my kit. Anyone use something different maybe with a thermastat control, nice and quiet with good cooling results.
Thanks,
Kajun

Try the 16 inch high volume fan from Southern Rod.It is inexpensive 79 dollars or so and quiet(curved blades).I used a flaming river thermostat fan relay from them also. chuck

Same goes for the Spal fans. I'm running a 16" puller, thin profile. I can't hear it unless the engine is turned off.

The straight blade Spals are much noisier that the curved blade models, but they move more air too.

I have no complaints with mine. When you need it, it sucks air threw like, well........... it moves a lot of air The only time I can hear it is when the egine is off, and it's just a soft hum.
