If I remember correctly it's from a Mustang II. Jim

It is from a Mustang II. But I thought it looked ugly. What I did was I disassembled the e-Brake handle assembly, which requires a carbon bit for drilling out the two large rivets. I then pried the bonded epoxy "wooden" handle off of the lever. I sent the lever out to the chrome shop - and it came back PERFECT. It looks absolutely awesome. I then used hardened pins with cotter pins (originally intended for use in a garage door opener) to replace the two rivets that I drilled out, and then reassembled the assembly - very easy.

Bolts right back in, and looks great.

Dusty,
If you're looking to buy a new one, check out www.controlcables.com They make one that comes in the Shell Valley kit. At least, I'm pretty sure of that. They make some nice cables, rod ends, throttle linkage ends, etc.

Default e brake handle

Thanks for the replies guys. Didnt expect the thread to come back up but here it is. Dave, I did just that. Cruised thru some hot rod books and found their ad. Its a real nice small deal and allows my seat to sit in there square instead of the really bad angles i have seen on some. They sent the handle and the day after I received it, I received another box from them. Turns out it was a custom control cable that was mis labeled. Long story short - it was an awesome piece of work! If you need a custom cable made, these are the guys to do it!
Thanks again for all the posts,
dusty
