Clutch cable

Ok do you just stick it in the hole or is there a clip that goes on behind to hold it in? Looks like there is a hole for a small bolt is that it? When I got the cable it was just the cable.

If your talking about the bell housing side. There is a clip that holds the cable jacket to the housing. On the upper side, the tension holds it to the cable hump. The only bolt hole that I know of is for the clutch arm cover.
