Hydraulic Clutch in B&B
What is the best Hydraulic clutch set up for a B&B kit? Can you use the brake and clutch pedal that come with the car or is another required? I have not done much research on this yet so I was hoping for some input here. Can anyone recommend a set up? 351W,McLeod BH, Tremec, Ram 10.5in clutch.
Thanks, Bob

Use an external slave, it should fit just fine. I don't know what you mean by using your brake and clutch pedal. You just use your clutch pedal attached to a master.

McLeod
I've used the McLeod set up for the last eight years. The only issue I had was with the first unit I installed leaked after about a year. I had the unit rebuilt with a brass insert and that cured the problem. If you call McLeod talk to Red he knows Brian and his set up.

Bob,
I have mine set up and I will be glad to come over and help you this weekend if you like. I have a brand new Master Cylinder I will make you a deal on you can't refuse. I also have a set of pedals already set up for a Hyd clutch.

Hydraulic Clutch pedal set up
If you have the stock B&B clutch and brake pedal set up the clutch pedal has a hole in it that is designed for a brass bushing. B&B already had this options prepared for. The hydraulic master cylinder clevis goes through this perfectly. I used the Wilwood master cylinder and wilwood slave. I haven't had any problems with it at all. I think I have some pictures of this on my gallery if not I will put some up. Bob Beasley

Bob is right on as usual. I used my B&B pedals for years with a hydraulic m/c for my clutch. A couple of years ago I switched to the Wilwood pedal assembly but that was only because I wanted to contort myself adjusting the bias bar on the brake pedal!

Which master cylinder did you use with the B&B pedals? I want to place an order and get as much as possible in the first shot. What slave cylinder are you using? I am thinging about the pull slave from FortesParts.com

Wow Clois! "Bob is right as usual" from the "COBRA GURU". That's better than applause!
OhBouy, I got Wilwood from Summit. WIL-260-1304 master Cylinder, .750 Bore and WIL-260-1333 pull style slave, 11 3/4 in. Extended, 1 3/8 stroke. My clutch arm pulls to the rear. I'm using a McLoud bellhousing with their clutch arm and a Ram Clutch. My clutch engages and disengages nicely in the middle of the pedal stroke. You can see these items on summit or the Wilwood web site catalog. Did you see the pictures in my gallery?
