Default Wipers- yeah or neah

Well just about to the point of installng body, do not have wiper assembly on car. Am I screwing up here or should I put some on. If so, what is the best kit, B&B, others? Thanks

I dont know what your state law is about them, but here we put them on and then once the inspection is over, take them off and just cap the studs that run them. And one person got his passed even though he never even put a place for them as he wanted the body all smooth across there.

Easier to do it before paint than after. I think Ron is right, install them & cap the assemblies if you aren't going to use them. I like my wipers on. To me it gives it a real "useable car" look.

I would install them as it will help if/when you sell the car. Some states require them by law.

Of course, I've never driven the car in the rain, but I once went through a fairly dense fog bank which instantly fogged-over the windscreen. I was glad I had functional wipers. You just never know.

Dang, I was at London last year and needed them big time!!!

State law says I have to have them. I installed Lucas and did my own wiring.

It is not that bad.

YES!

I think it is 100% yes. In the Northeast it is very common to have air temperature differential cause fog on the glass. Even original S/C comp cars had wipers even though they did not have heat or demisters. When you need them you will wish you had them.

They are required to pass inspection here in Hawaii and are a good idea
for those rare occurances of rain surprises. You don't really need them if
you can keep your speed up but that doesn't aways happen. Easier to put
them in during the build than later and makes it much more sellable should
you need to sell it. You don't notice them when you are driving, except
when you need them.

Wipers? ABSOFREAKIN'LUTELY!!!

I think a car without wipers looks a little strange, but that's entirely beside the point. If the weather suddenly turns bad, just put up your top, turn on the wipers (and maybe the defroster-you ARE installing a heater, aren't you?) and away you go.

As Igofastr said, "You just never know".
