Default B&B Newby Basics

I recently purchased a well done B&B roadster that I can't wait to add some personal touches to. I need to know a few basics. I realize some of these questions are hard to answer without a visual. I think it's safe to assume they are stock B&B application.
1. What type of steering rack is it ? Fox, Mustang II etc. It has 4 full turns end to end.(way too slow for me) Any suggestion for an upgrade to quicken the steering w/o going power?
2. What front spindles are they? (for brake application)
3. What are the front brakes? I have been told GM. What kind usually.
4. Is there a logical economical front brake upgrade.
Thanks for everyones help from a B&B newby.

Usually a mustang II rack is used. I've heard someone using the fox type. Front spindles should be mustang II. Front brakes could be mustang II, Granada or gm mid 80's full size cars. To upgrade the brakes check out any street rod magazine. Most rods use mustang II parts. Jim

The most common rack used is a Mustang II. I swithced to a late model fox rack that is available with a quick ratio. Fits but you need to buy the offset rack bushings. The Fox is 1/2" closer on mounts.

For brakes you can buy an adapter from Heidts that fits the B&B spindle and allows you to bolt on aftermarket Willwood Calipers which are much better than the GM.
Details in my gallery.
