im going through the same thing , so look at dusty roads picks . he has american racing 427 wheels 8 in front and 10 in back . i think 4.5 bs in front and 4.75 in rear. it's so hard to pick wheels not knowing if they will fit. all the wheels on ebay have different back space than we need, At least the ones i can afford.

If you are looking at American Racing, check out the "Rodmaster" wheel. I put them on my car and they made the difference in the look. Got them at National Tire and Battery. Tire size for the rear is 295 and front 235.

TMAN8, did you ever get tires/wheels?
I am in Milwaukie, OR I just bought my B&B used.
This weekend I am going to try my 94 cobra wheels on my B&B to see how they fit.
The mustang wheels are priced well.

thanks, Jim

I was at B&B yesterday and they have a set of the new American Racing Cobra Style Wheels mounted on one of their customers cars and they look great. Polished with a Shelby centre cap and a great bargain these days.

I put the Team III wheels on my LAE(B&B). Very happy with them for the price..get the lug nut covers. I have 8" on the front with 245's and 10" on the rear with 295'S. Gives the car a great "stance" and handles well. Brian at B&B gave me the proper back spacing specs and Team III was great to work with and quick on delivery.

I have centerline wheels on mine. Got them at summit racing. Wide selection of back spacing. Mine are 3.5"bs 8x15" front and 6"bs 10x15" rear wheels.

I just bought a set of Mustang Bullet wheels (look something like torq-thrust)
17x8 (backspacing 5.5") and 17x9 (backspacing 5.75"). The rears with 255x45x17 have about 1.5" clearance to the frame rail. I hope to try the fronts this weekend. I will report back.

Thanks Michael, I am just getting back to this thread. I went to B&B to pick up a new dash because I have added things to my old one and I didn't like the way I had them oriented. New dash and 54" x 18" piece of leather is cheap, if I can get those holes cut in the right place I will be fine. Measure three times in this case.

I just put on 15" American Racing Cobra style wheels on my LAE. I got them here in California at Big O Tire. Four wheels, mounting, balancing, chrome lug nunts, chrome valves and filled with nitrogen for $1,275.00. They look great and improved the high speed stability 100%. No wobble, shimmy or shake. Major improvement in style and performance.

I happen to like the torque thrust wheels on the Coupe and early model mustangs.

Bob it is not that I am never satisfied it is that it takes me a couple tries to get things the way I want them...
