speedo cable

Is anyone using the TKO 600 with the Faria speedometer? Can you tell me what I should be looking for to order the speedometer cable? Also, what do I need to get to hook up the neutral safety switch?

You'll need to get your speedometer calibrated, so don't buy a cable yet. Just go to a shop that calibrates speedometers and let them hook it up. They may have to add a widget that adjusts the revs out of the transmission (I did) anyway.

You need to calculate what gear needs to be in your transmission. Easy to install but is different for what rear gears your running.

The cable isn't a problem. You need the correct gear to go on the end of it that is inserted in the transmission. Call Standard Transmission in Dallas/Ft. Worth and they can fix you up. Need wheel height and rear gears. The Faria Speedo indicates 60 mph at 1000 rpm cable speed. I got my gear from Standard and was surprised how accurate the speedometer is. (I just didn't expect it to be right) I got my cable from Oreilly Auto.
