Default Tire Clearance

Hi Everyone,

I'm getting closer to finally finishing up the car. One of the adjustments that will need to be made is the clearance between the front tires and the body. Right now I only have about .75 inch clearance. While this probably be fine if all I planned on doing was showing the car as it makes for a nice low stance. However, I would guess that this amount of clearance will be a problem on the street.

What would you suggest as a minimum clearance?

Mike

I would be curious to hear what people have to say about this?

What is the clearance on the rear?

Default Scientific method

I set my wheel clearance at two fingers, how is that for exact science. Have not had any problems with fender clearance, oil pan clearance Ok, and looks good at the wheel well gap.

FYI, I checked several of the cobras that the monthly get together yesterday and they were also about two fingers of clearance (about 1.5 inches) so that works for me.

Thanks

Mike
