Anyone use Ceramic inserts or other sound limiter in the B&B pipes

I must be getting old. Looking to quiet it down just a tad.

like to here what happens.he he. no pun.my pipes are rattling at some rpms and i need a solution that is a little more ,well quiet too.

After 8 years of being thrashed and having 110 octane pushed thru them I finally had Bryan make me some new pipes last year. At the time he told me there were different inserts you could put inside your mufflers to quieten them down. I am sure those things are still available.

My pipes started rattling and I discovered some small tack welds had broken toward the rear of the side pipe. I looked up inside the outlet with a flash light and noticed them. I welded the insert back with some 3/32 6011 weld rod. The rattle stopped. It is rattle free at least for now.

Summit sells some cone inserts that "bolt in" I have never used them but someone on the forum recommended them to me in the past.
