Default front springs revisited

Well after several days and a hundred miles now, I have changed my mind about the springs B&B supplies with the kit. I now think they have the rate (375 lb.) correct but I am sure they got the lenght (8") wrong. The 10" by 350 lb. are great. Just think about it. If you compress the 8" half way, is it still a 375 lb. spring? Of coarse not, just read QA1's web site and the deflection rate of the springs. Most guys are running pretty big tires and I have seen B&B's with the adjuster half way up! Just to get fender clearence. Now on to the rear spring................
