You have a complete car, or you have a car that you are going to build?

They also have a build CD that provides a lot of extra pictures that certainly help identify how things should go together. While the assembly manual does provide guidance, it is not a detailed step by step procedure. That said, I was always able to get any questions answered whenever I called even though it may have taken a day or two before someone called me back.

Ditto on D&M's comment. The "assembly manual" only gives general direction and is not going to answer a lot of your questions. I will admit I resorted to it a number of time during my construciton but I got the best advice when I called and talked to Brian or Barry and consulted with others on this forum. (The last I heard is that Barry has his own company now and is not at B&B any longer.) I think B&B lists the assembly manual and CD on its list of items for sale. They provide it when you buy a kit.

I have a complete car, but it needs to be finished, it was a kit from 1993, I email b@b but no return, I am going to try and call again monday.
I think an assembly manual will help me in the wiring department and the clutch and brake assy installation.
Thanks David

davecobra,
I have a L.A. Exotics from 1993, and if I am not mistaken B & B did not come around untill a few years later. I believe the cars are very similar, if not the same. Does your car have a wide frame 4 inches below the car? I had to re wire my car due to a short. I changed to a haywire set up, very nice people, I am at work and do not have their #s. If you have some questions I might be able to help since I have owned it since 1993. I have a 428 and a toploader

You may be right, maybe I have a LA Exotic, the frame is about 4 inch wide where the motor mounts are. I would like to talk to you about yours, as I have a 428 with a c6 and want to change to a manual.
Thanks David Lewis

David, personally, I would rip out the old wiring and install a Haywire system. We've been using them exclusively for several years. Every wire is labeled, every few inches, where it goes. Yes, we do have the pedals to change to stick. We can make just about anything fit between the old LAE and B&B. If you have any problems, just call and Laurie will transfer you to Bryan or me. If you're in Texas, come on up to the Open House in our new location. You're not that far away.
