Chrome windshield and different hoodscoop, doesn't look like a BDR.

Thanks for posting the link to the pictures. It must be sickening to have one of those cars and then have that happen to them. I hope the insurance companies will pay for the damage.

That looks like an FFR, narrow hood handle location and built in hood scoop.

meaybe i'm wrong
but I think that car is or was owned by Wayne Pressley who used to be a regular here...had a gt40 featured in a a video..the car was damaged on delivery from ff5 at the same time that a truck that delivered my first bdr. I havent't heard from Wayne in several years. Shame...he is one of the original here.

Car damages
I was amazed at the thickness of the bog (bondo) that fell out of some of those show cars. Some even showed rust holes under the bog
Cheers,
Bryan

Bryan,
I noticed the same thing (Bondo) and commented on it on another thread last week. If someone was seriously looking at one of those cars, they might have dodged a bullet.

That's why a collector will do a 'tacky test' with a small button magnet. It's strong enough to stick through the paint, but not strong enough to stick over bondo/filler etc.
