I think Chris Bailey posts around here. He has one in his TD car, but can speak to the GM stuff...

Default lsx gm

We have fitted many generation 111 gm motors here in sa.:mecool:right from the vortex 4.8 upto the ls7.we are busy with a factory supercharged engine at the moment.:dall the gen 111 blocks are basically the same and fit in with space to spare.u can order: Mountings, headers, radiator pipes, ect., from reg in florida.
These engines are really good in the backdraft chassis.

My brother, Chris, has a carbed LS2/T-56 combo, in a TD car, full custom tilt front end, carbon dash and footboxes, a real gem. Zero fitment issues regarding the GM power plant, she drops right in. Headers, motor mounts, and coolant line kit all available from Backdraft. Chris is working off site till the end of next week.I'll see if I can get a hold of him to chime in.
Cheers,
Richard

Well said Rich. Yup the lightweight ls motor is a super smooth and well engineered piece that drops right in, Backdraft has header, motor mounts and the cooling items for it as they have done quite a few. My td car is up for sale if you're looking for a finished car.

chris.

Blittleton That is a very nice car. Do you know the owner i would like to talk to him. An LS7 in a BDR would be an absolute rocket. Thank you
