Hood Rivets
Hi guys,
Will one of you Backdraft owners please do me a favor? I had an accident with mine last year and it is finally ready for the paint booth. The body shop needs to know how and where to install the hood rivets. Will someone please take a picture of their hood showing the pattern for the rivets. If possible, please use a tape measure and show both how far apart the rivets are and and how far in from the edge of the hood they are.
Thank you very much,
Kevin

Kevin I think a pencil traced template might be best, if you want to hook up you can use my hood for the template.

Staples or a fabric store , you might have to tape some sections together.

Hood rivets. I don,t know if i'm going to put them in my hood. they look like a big pain in the a$$ to wax around. To those of you that have them, if you had to do it again would you put the rivets in or not?

I just talked to the body shop. He just wants some pictures. Can anyone help me out with a picture or two showing the rivets and if possible a tape measure showing the spacing?

Here is an old photo of the hood layout for now, if your body shop starts from the center and works their way out would probably be best.
I will get a better picture by the end of the weekend for you.

Mine are not rivets-little machine screws with little acorn nuts.
