My buddy has made a Video of the unload. It is on facebook. I will have him send it to me so you guys can see. Unfortunately, the weather here has not been the best so drives have been limited. I can tell you the car is freakin awesome. It is really hard to put into words. The roads have been at least a little wet every time I have taken her out. So, I have been very careful to this point. There is no wanting for power. No matter what gear she is in it just flat out goes! My son is hopelessly hooked could not get him out of it last night. The first thing he did this morning is go check to make sure it was still there
Do have a few small issues that I'm in contact with Jay about. I figured it is just par the course from all the things I have read on the forum. As soon has we can I will make a walk around Video and get it posted. As you guys already know you do not stop with out people coming from every where to talk and take pictures. It happened every time we stopped to day! Loving the car just looking forward to pretty weather.

I commented way back on the first page of this thread and wanted to extend my congratulations on getting your car which looks even better on the street than in Brian''s garage. It seems that you can vouch for that as well. I wish you continued enjoyment of your dream machine. Please remember to be careful on the streets as I am sure that you are finding that you don't have to go fast to enjoy driving your car.

Today we were fortunate to have a beautiful sunny warm day in Dallas, going to rain and possible freeze tomorrow. This weather has been crazy .....
Looking forward to the Facebook link.

Video of the car being unloaded and first drive. Have not had a chance to do more driving as it has been nothing but bad weather ever since she showed up. Looking forward to some sun shine this weekend!

Yes guys that is my car. Long story short last year was on bad thing after another culminating with the passing of my father with cancer. The car was fabulous and I have nothing but the highest praise for Jay and the guys at Vintage. The passing of my father kind of became tied in with the car and I could not move past it. When the project started the car was being built for me and Dad. I know it probably sounds crazy. The car was awesome and part of me surely misses it. Just need a fresh start with something different. Also, I really enjoyed everyone on the Cobra forum there is a great bunch of people here and I enjoyed meeting all of you.

So sorry to hear my friend. The amount of time effort and creativity that was put into the car set the bar for everyone.
I hope you are able to find the peace you need. The Cobra door is always open should you need a ride!

My Los Angeles buddy saw this car at the dealership handling the sale; he said the car is amazing in every way. He offered $50K cash on the spot and the sales guy laughed!

Look, at some point my aversion to vegetables, overconsumption of beer, gin, chicken wings, and ribs coupled with a few cigs and an awfully stress filled profession will in fact catch up with me. After a few kin decide if I was kidding about cryogenics and option for a 6 ft dirt bed as close to limerock park as possible or an urn on tour with the road cases of pearl jam ... I hope someone remembers me by this build.

Jay-
Great work, we were all in awe watching this come to life. Too bad you didn't end with the car as a show piece. It really does show the great work you do!
Best!

Nope, not in that neighborhood yet. You have to go so far over the top to sticker out like that on a current BDR. People are trying though ...
