Todd:
Ping me next time you are headed to Frisco. There is a nice car show this weekend at the FC Dallas soccer fields. I heard up to 800 cars.

I've been in their parking lot twice in the last couple weeks and will be there again early next week (getting tile next door). Saw the Black car out back one day...from 20' away it's BAD ASS!!!
The back door was open but didn't see the red car with top, but looks great in pictures

I keep saying I'm going to drop in, but always running late running personal errands on company time.

And not to change the subject too much, but if you make it up to their shop, right around the corner is one of the best sandwich places on the east coast

Also, I think the engine came in about the same time as the car. Should see it pretty soon.
Todd:
Give me a PM if you make it to Frisco. My car arrived on yesterday, I should have all the registration done in a week. On the way home from the dropoff lot, I had two people follow me to talk about the car. Kinda freaked my daughter out. She asked if it's normal for complete strangers to want to stop and talk about cars! Gotta luv it

Special thanks to Mike for letting me come by and see his new Backdraft cobra today.
It could not have worked out better. Happened to be in Frisco for a Wedding the day after his car was delivered. Have to say his car is awesome and everyone is right, if you think they look good in pictures wait till you see one in person!!!

Also, the sound of the engine blew me away. Made my trip!!

Thanks again Mike

When I first read this I wanted to make a comment but did not want to make a negative comment. I wish someone would have taken you for a ride though.

Sort of reminds me when I was in high school driving one of my grandfathers's cars. So many to choose from and one day he made a purchase from overseas and I was ready to bring one to school. I was raised on James Bond, Evil Kneival, Apollo missions and was ready for the Toyota 2000GT!!!

Funny thing was that my grandfather knew something that I did not. I am 6'3"
and would have a very hard time fitting. That's why Toyota had to make a topless version for Connery in the movie You Only live Twice.

HOPE YOU FIT IN YOUR COBRA!! Only kidding have fun and enjoy.

I will have more trouble seeing over the steering wheel than the windshield.
Unfortunately being to tall will never be a problem for me (only about 5' 8 here)
And that is on a good day.

Todd:
Is was a pleasure to meet you and your family. Hopefully you can organize a drive in the fall thru the national forest in your backyard. When is your car due to arrive in Mena? Check out the red glow of my gauges at night.

Love the gauges!!!! I think Speedhut makes the best looking ones. That's just me. They are thinking the car may be here mid to late August. Hopefully just in time for some nice cool cruising weather. Have you got to drive your car anymore? If so, what do you think so far.

Todd

Todd:
I did about 100 miles yesterday, combo city and freeway miles. Still breaking the motor in so I didn't work it to hard, no shortage of hp or grip, car weighed in at 2540 lbs with a full tank of gas. So far so good
