Rear suspension adjustments

I noticed today the driver rear is sitting about an inch an half lower than the passenger side and was wondering how do you adjust the rear suspension to compensate for this.

Pretty simple adjustment after Jay and others explained how to do it. Jack it up, remove the wheel, and locate a spanner nut inside the spring. Turn it to adjust the pad that adjusts the height. You should be able to do it with channel lock pliers or even with a long screw driver.

Here is the setup on my car #1133. The adjusting nut is on the upper support post.

Thanks, A picture really clears it up. So to raise or lower the rear you just turn the top bolt. Is there a set screw or something to stop it from moving.

There is no provision for keeping the nut from turning except for friction. If you believe that the car has lowered about an inch and a half, you definitely need to take a look at the spring and suspension assembly. There are rubber pads and metal washers that sandwich the spring which, in addition to the spring, may not be in the condition that they should be. The most difficult part of adjusting the ride height should be removing the wheel.

My BDR is an older build and the suspension looks different. I have the car in storage right now so I can't take a pic right now. But I'm sure that the spanner nut is on the inside of the spring. Unless my memory ain't so good.

If the nut is hard to turn, you may need to lesson the pressure on the spring/nut. I unbolted the Shock and it made it much easier.
