Default Let's revisit Tire Pressure settings and include 18" wheels

My search for tire pressure settings resulted in past posts primarily around 15" and 17" wheels. Now that BDR has been delivering with cars 18" wheels, I would like some feedback on what your settings are for street and track with 18" wheels.

I run Hoosier A6 @ 34R/36F hot for the track. On the street I set them to 32/34 cold since I'm not taking hot temps, nor building any heat. Same pressure for 17" and 18". Car is 2640 with driver.

Tire pressures depend on the weight of the car, the type of tire and the contact patch of the tire. The wheel dia doesn't really matter.

i.e. if you are running NT-05's all the way around the pressures will be pretty much the same whether you are running 17's or 18's.

For street tires (NT-05's, Rivals) on a BDR I would start with a baseline of 25psi all the way around. To get an exact temp for your car and tires you would need to use a tire pyrometer.
