Have you checked the master switch? Depending on year it is behind the passenger seat or on tranny tunnel.

Steve: there should be a wiring diagram in your manual. I'm looking at one now. It doesn't show the real wiring to the starter. I think the + wire from the master sw first goes to the starter solenoid on the starter itself. At that connection there should be a smaller wire that feeds everything else. You have to get under the car to access it.

I am not familiar with the Backdraft wiring but does your dash have a plug in that all the wiring goes through like some of them do? If you have pulled the wires physically to the key switch then whichever one supplies the power must be open inside the insulation. It sounds as if you have checked all of the most logical places. Also on your master switch, did you look to make sure one of the wires hasn't came off? I had that happen once on my Cobra and I changed the type of connector it used.

Steve: The wiring diagram is pretty poor in the area of the primary power distribution.
The starter motor(large)terminal should be hot whenever the batt sw is on. The rest of the electrical system is fed by a smaller red wire from that starter terminal to the fuse/relay box under the left side panel, and also to the ign sw. , so if you have voltage at the starter solenoid, but not at the fuse box or ign sw, then that wire is open. It could have broken away from the terminal where you can't see it, or it may be a bad connection at the fuse box end. I remember there was a harness connector on the pass side in the engine compartment, fwd the firewall, but don't remember if the primary power went thru it, or if it was just the fwd lights, etc., but worth checking.

Run a ground to the battery and your tester, then check all known areas for +12vdc.

You may have +12VDC but if you lost your ground no peripherals will work without the return path.
