I had the Mickey Thompson ST series tires and for an all around tire they were great. P295/50/15's in the back and P245/60/15's in the front. I ran 20lbs front, 18lbs rear. I would buy them again.

I did run across these today.
American Racer tires from Boubin -::- - Products
Cheap prices. 295/50R15 @ $127 and the G60-15 (= the 245/60R15 is the width and dia) is $120.

I'm intrigued.
I grew up in the same town where Boubin tire is located. I know the family well. They are good people.

Well just an update on this I decided to go with the Cooper Cobras P295/50/15's in the back and P235/60/15's in the front. Same sizes as the TAs that were on it and they ride great as a street tire. Not going racing anyway :-).

And all my 60 to 70 mph shake is gone...

ps mounted black out

Bill

Too bad you did not see my group buy on Avon tires. We sold 6 sets, and was hoping for more but Covid hit us all. I don't want to go bigger wheels, but there's not many 15" tires anymore.
