Default Soft top question

Interested in a Soft Top for my BDR, what are the pros and cons of the vinyl or Fabric besides the price.

What are your thoughts on this topic

I have the Vinyl soft top and use it every year to extend the season. I also have a heater which helps since the top leaks quite a bit.

Why did you pick the vinyl over the fabric

PM125, just as an FYI, if you do get this top, the install is not a DIY project and install is not cheap. Install involves pulling the windshield, drilling and tapping the windshield support brackets, drilling out all of the holes for the 'attach grommets.'

I cant remember if mine is vinyl or fabric...its sitting on a shelf until I can save enough for an install ($1200+)

This is a picture of my car with a canvas top. I had it installed in a professional upholstery shop. It cost around $600 to do it. I installed the necessary hardware before I took it in without removing the windshield. I was extra careful with the length of the screws and put a putty knife between the frame and the glass so the screws did not hit the glass. I'm very happy with the look and performance of the canvas top.
