Just ordered my first Cobra!
I'm new to posting here, but I've been reading everything I can here to get a good education. After speaking with a couple dealers and existing Backdraft owners, I took a ride to CT to visit Vintage Motorsports to see their operation and meet the guys there. I quickly realized that this was the place for me.
I am looking forward to having BDR #1644 built, and should be completed by late April!
More to come!

Me too, I'm build 1632 from Jay at VMS - first one and very excited - I drove one of Jay's early cars at the Manhattan Car Club and was sold from them on!

Congratulations on your new Backdraft purchase and the start of a exciting adventure. I thoroughly enjoyed my first Backdraft Cobra and have been fortunate to enjoy my second Backdraft Cobra that I purchased new just two years ago. My Backdraft build #1360 has a Roush 427R (550 HP) and a Tremec (T56) 6-speed tranny. Great car, fun drive and trouble free so far. Just turn the key and go. Your business with Vintage Motorsports should prove to be a wise choice. Wishing you years of fun Cobra driving--DRIVE WITH CARE! PHIL

Congrats! There are a few new BDR/VMS members here, including me. If you're up at VMS, take a gander at my build - 1591 and give it a pat on the rear quarter for me. Enjoy the process.

Very cool - where do you live? I'm in Bridgewater NJ. I ask because it would be fun to connect with some fellow VMS owners when our cars are done.

WOW! As mentioned in a former post to you, I am thrilled with my second Backdraft Cobra. My first backdraft Cobra was just as thrilling. However, the car was black and I just had to clean the car continuously. Your choice of colors (sterling grey with silver stripes) is the same color combination as my new Backdraft Cobra. Just does not show the dust and dirt. I always garage my car and just need to wipe off the dust on occasion, although the dust really does not show--certainly like a dark colored Cobra. Your choice of Cobra and dealership is spot on. Drive safely. Phil

Congrats on your new baby! I too just went through the same process with VMS. I was treated well and happy to say I am the proud owner of BDR1609! I received mine last February! She currently has 380 miles on her.(see pics in photo gallery)
The weather here in North Central PA is just starting to warm up! I can actually say that this thing has done nothing but blow people away! Every one wants to see it! Every time I get in this thing she puts a big smile on my face! Any ways congrats!
