Ugh, I would hope it was the other one. But you can check the tag on the transmission it will have a part number.

With my 462" big block with TKO600RR I went from 3.46 open to 3.91 @ %40 lock and on a road course it was night and day difference. It's manners on the street were greatly improved as well, it's reactions to dynamic input became much more predictable. Before the LSD it was a crap-shoot as to whether the rear end was going to step out in a corner due to throttle input or not. Not confidence inspiring to say the least.

Jay,

I was being sarcastic... Being as we have no idea of how he wants to use the car it is impossible to make a real recommendation.

If he just wants to cruise, then you take the trans, plus the O.D. of the rear tires and the RPM he wants to run and put it into the tremec calc and it will tell you the gear.

I have a 3.15 40% lock and a 3.46 60%. I had a 3.91 40% lock.

If you just drive the car on the street and you are in 1st gear and you can smoke the rears at 1/2 throttle you do NOT need more gear.. you really need less gear.

If you race that is different. I autocross and do not want to change gears. So on a fast course I will use the 3.15's and on a tighter course I will use the 3.46's.
