Yes, P38s are Kaase's latest heads for Windsors. Valves are canted, so they look "different". My motor dynoed at 576hp, 5800rpm.....560+ from 5300 to 6600 rpm. 565 lb-ft at 4700 rpm, 560+ lb-ft from 4200 to 5200 rpm. I have a hydraulic lifter motor, 248/256 duration @0.050" lift, 0.636/0.620" lift at valve. tight 110 deg lobe separation. These heads move a lot of air, and will really punch up some numbers with a higher rpm solid lifter motor. I wanted a more streetable motor so kept it a little calmer.

My favorite question - I'm interesting in a car to drive twisties - so weight is very important.
What is the weight difference? Coyote vs 427 vs Windsor vs Coyote SC |
In stock trim, the 351W weighs in around 510-550. The Coyote is about 430-450. The Ford 427 big block FE motor is around 650 pounds.

I vote for the lighter weight aluminum 427 stroker based on the 351 that gives you 600+ hp with the same weight as the 351. For ease of turn the key and drive the modern drivetrain is great but give or take 100 pounds you will never notice

Funny, I just tried to install camber plates last night. Turns out that I need camber nuts (threaded sleeve/nut) because the top part of the stock KYB 361005 shock inserts are too short. What upgrade front shocks and springs are you using? Also, did you have to trim the camber plates to fit in the tower, and what manual rack are you using? |

Has anyone put a Predator in one of these cars? Would it fit?
