Default Aluminum tank

I have a 10 year old RT 3. I got rid of the plastic tank a few years back and went with the aluminum one. Replaced all connections with new hose. I have never had an issue with leaks or venting. As per the advice of other threads on here, I never top it off. When the pump clicks off, that's it, I stop filing. Also, I couldn't give the plastic tank away. It went in the trash.

Gentlemen we are playing with gasoline here
On the street
EFI systems are sealed with pressure in the tank
Carbs have vacuum in tank as a result of pump sucking gas and air is sucked in thru a vent
It’s not vented to let air out
Vented gas caps are one way, in

It’s two different worlds

That’s a beautiful car and the info in your gallery is priceless
Thanks
