Lightbulb will a t56 fit ???

I am in the process of getting the motor and tranny set up for my BDR kit. has anyone seen or done a tremec t-56 six speed yet in these cars? if so i would also like to know if a shorty style center mount shifter is possible with a 351 and the tremec t-56.

also. will backdraft be at the daytona turkey rod run?

Im in volusia county (1/2 hour south of daytona) and would like to chat with some local members.

Boudy - it wasn't we I swear - really it wasn't :-)

Rob - the word so far is that a T56 won't fit. I've asked ....

Hope this helps.

Rob: Take Doug's word for it, he's asked, and asked, and asked...

However, he get's the same answer, "Sorry, it won't fit." I think he figures that if he keeps asking, it will fit.

It's a theory ..... I think :-)and I even suggest a really big hammer - but alas the same answer did return - nope, won't, can't, shant fit.

With a supercharged 351 I'd really look at a TKO - it'll take about any punishment you can throw at it. And 5 gears should be enough .... well actually 6 if you include reverse.

Hey there it is - my 6-sp whoo hoo :-)
