Assuming the 295/50 have a rolling circumference of about 79 inches (my old 305/50s were 80.25 inches), the answer would be
(7 * 3.1 * 802 revs/mile) / 1000 = 17.4
The driven gear would have 17 teeth. That's Ford part C3DZ-C.
number of teeth color part#
16 wine C0DZ-A
17 white C3DZ-C
18 yellow C0DD-B
19 pink C0DZ-B
20 black C1DZ-A
21 red C4OZ-A
The revs per mile calculation is (5280ft per mile * 12inches per foot) / 79 inches per turn of the tire.
