wow, this format is a new one to me!!

Oh, the tires. Advantages to both. much cheaper tires in 15 inch, look more original, ride nicely, the 17s ride more stiffly, may require a lower numerical diff gear (smaller rolling diameter), much more expensive (i am about to put on my fifth rear set!!), but certainly substantially better traction in general.

I love my 15's, as i won't knowingly approach their limits in my street driving. So don't need any more tire than i have now.

I have fine street traction now, and don't want to give up the smaller tires' advantages for even more traction.

Default Tires

Ed--

As Hal said, if you want the origianl look--stay with the 15" rims. If you do, your choices are limited to good tires. BFG Drag Radial or Nittos are two examples of tires that work well on the 15' rims. If you decide to go 17'--then your choices are vast.

Also, how are you going to drive your car. Race--street--show--should help you making up your mind..

Good luck and welcome to the Cobra world.
