Default Gauges still not functioning

Reg or anyone,

When will the proper oil pressure/temperature gauge sending units become available. I've had my car for about 3 months and still have nonfunctioning oil gauges. Does anyone have a solution to replace the defective ones shipped with my (and several other) cars?

I have the standard gauge package from Backdraft.

Help!

Sorry, I didn't mean to use this as a personal e-mail to Reg, but I tried his address at Backdraft and had not heard back. I understand Reg is at a car show somewhere in the world!

The good news is my gauges are working! Another victory for Armond at California Cobra. Somehow he got them functional. So all is well in San Diego.

Reg did move his shop further north. Are you sure you're not calling his old shop. He's very good at taking care of his customers so I wouldn't worry too much.

Thanks for your concern. I did get an e-mail response from someone at Backdraft telling me Reg is out of town at a show. Sounds to me like he should take a laptop with him!

In any case, I am sure he will answer my questions when he returns. Nothing is too time crucial. Luckily, my gauges are now working. That was a concern, especially with a new engine. I really like to monitor oil pressure and temp. The water temp was working, so at least I could see what was happening there!

I see you have an earlier car. How is it working for you? Are you happy with it? Any changes you have made or would like to see made to your car? Please let me know!

I only have 370 miles on it so I'm still working out the bugs with the engine and all but the rest of the car has held up well so far. Saw a new one recently and I really like the new steering wheel with the darker wood inlay. Real sharp looking. May add a oil cooler in the future. Other than that I'm very happy so far.
