Default will a Vic jr intake fit?

hey Boudy,

First of all it was nice meeting you at DVSF.

My question is:
Will the VIc Jr intake on a 351w will fit under the hood of the BDR? Thats all I really need to know.

Default Victor Jr intake

I've got that intake on my 351w in my SPF. Fits just fine. Also, my car is the street version with no scoop, so clearance is very critical.

The reason I'm asking is cause I was planning on putting a supercharger on the motor.

http://www.paxtonauto.com/catalog/sy...t&Part=1001839

the paxton has a hood that goes over the carb. So Vic Jr. intake, holley carb then paxton hood. I know that EFI maybe a better option with SC but I'm looking for something different.

Yes, a Victor Jr will fit under the hood. However, if running it on a Windsor, you can't run the large oval Cobra air cleaner without the cleaner being modified to sit lower. It's a common problem that not only plauges our car. If this is the case, send it to me and I can have it modified to sit lower.

I have the Victor Jr. intake on my 351W and I am also running the Oval Cobra air cleaner. But, as Boudy mentioned I did have to mill the bottom lip off from the bottom of the air cleaner. If you like I would be more than happy to take some pictures and email them to you. FYI my frame is a FFR.
Let me know,
Todd
