You bought a used race car and something broke? Where's the mystery? Just want to keep it in perspective that you are speaking of a race car and not a typical BDR street car on the street etc.
I'm sure they boys will come through for you. Use the telephone though, they are not as active online as some.

Hi cashy, has nothing to do with it being a race car or street car. Reg and Tony are both very aware of the issue and have acknowledged that the car would have never been shipped half way around the world had they of checked it first. A previous ocuring problem it was. The issue lies in the time it's taking and the lack of action to date to rectify what has been acknowledged already. I feel it will be addressed appropriately, perhaps not as promptly as one would hope but I'm sure we will all be smiling soon. The proof will be in the pudding as they say. Spookypt

I realize this, and you know this. Just want to make sure the discussion that started about Backdraft components holding up to the powertrains on the street etc. in the street cars is not confused with a highly different race chassis that you are running and experience a broken component with (that is not a direct comparison or reflection to the original topic).
Hope you are up and racing again soon ... breaking stuff is part of racing.

off topic
Agreed Cashie, the failure of my diff has nothing to do with a std road going or partime track BDR. It was a racing failure..
The rest of my issues are being dealt with so back to topic. BDR BMW rear ends are stout. Behind a 750HP monster like mine in race mode..... failures do and will occur.
Hopefully though not with the zillion $ rear end I have now!

My Recommendation , start with a better car, -- you can save some money on a motor , but a good core chassis will treat you well many motors into the future.

You have no idea what car he has. Just like you knew nothing about the AL motors...
