Default Rear Spring Swap?

Hey guys,

I'm changing my rear springs and I was wondering if anyone has done this. Do I need a spring compressor? Will I have to realign? I Changed the fronts springs and it wasn't a bad job. Any advice appreciated

Default SPRINGS

DENNIS,
NO SPECIAL TOOLS NEEDED.
JACK UP REAR OF CAR. PUT ON STANDS.
ROMOVE REAR WHEELS.
PLACE THIN PIECE OF WOOD OR CARDBOARD ON TROLLY JACK.
JACK UP ON DISC CARFULLY. U JUST NEED TO JACK VERY SLIGHTLY UNTILL THE SHOCK STARTS TO DEPRESS(MAYBE ONLY 1/4")
THIS IS TO TAKE THE SPRING PRESSURE OFF THE SHOCK BOLT.
UNSCREW THE SHOCK BOLT AND REMOVE.
LET THE JACK DOWN.
APPLY A BIT OF PRESSURE ONTO THE TRAILING ARM, DOWN WARDS.
REMOVE THE SPRING.
MAKE SURE THAT THE TOP SPRING ADJUSTER IS CLEAN AND FREE. IF NOT CLEAN AND LUB WITH COPERSLIP OR SIMILAR.
REVERSE THE PROCESS. DONT PUT THE OLD SPRINGS BACK!!! A FEW GUYS HAVE DONE THIS!!
RE ADJUST JOUR RIDE HIGHT AFTER DRIVING SLOWLY AROUND THE BLOCK.
HAVE A WONDERFUL COBRA DAY,
DRIVE SAFELY,
REGARDS,
